Stephan and the folks on the mailing list are working on gathering up all the work that has been done on the Countermoves Mirco Games Engine over the last couple of years. When it is ready I will lay it out and publish it up as either a hefty sized zine or a larger format book. As always, CCL or Public Domain will hold for most all the work therein.
If you have anything to add please join the mailing list and get your thoughts out to us.

A little something to explore(re explore) while things cook up here at Countermoves central...
85 rooms, 978 words, 41 objects, 17 years old.... from these fine folks who want you to have these gems. Some may say 'So what this is dead history" to which I can only point to this growing body of collaborative work and wonder what homebrew lobotomy kit they are applying to their skull.

So what happened to going monthly? Life, lack of material, kids, time time time...
No Countermoves is not dead, far from it. The idea of putting out clock work like monthly issues is. The next issue will be out....soon. The issue after that...as soon as its ready. I love doing this zine and am planning to keep it going as long as there are readers, and since I'm a reader so that is not too hard. Pushing to meet some professional regime of releases is simply not in the card though.
How can you help to make issues come out more often? Submit games. The more zine ready they are the better.
Until the next issue is ready, check back here when you can.
